Galway’s Electric Garden and Theatre are officially Ireland’s top music nightclub following their Schwartzhog award win this August.

Earlier this year Schwartzhog Herbal liqueur announced their sponsorship of the music venue category of the 2016 Bar of the Year awards.

Nine finalists were selected from across Ireland – they were Club 92 in Dublin, Crane Lane Theatre in Cork, Electric Garden & Theatre in Galway, Krystle Nightclub in Dublin, Set Theatre in Kilkenny, The Central in Meath, The Palace in Meath, The Foundry Nightclub in Carlow and the Wright Venue in Dublin.

Electric Garden & Theatre Galway was announced as the overall winner at a glittering ceremony in Dublin’s Mansion House on Monday 22nd August.

Pat Rigney, Chairman of Dalcassian Wines & Spirits, the Irish distributor for the German Herbal liqueur said they were delighted to support excellence in the Irish entertainment industry.

“Ireland has an outstanding reputation in the bar and club trade. Schwartzhog is delighted to recognise venues that go the extra mile in creating the best experience for customers. Congratulations to Electric Garden & Theatre Galway and all of the finalists.”
